The community of Teso in Moyale has received 1,100 tree seedlings to support climate change mitigation and environmental restoration efforts of rangelands and other areas within the location. The trees are being planted during this rainy season in Kenya.
We collaborated with the Kenya Forest Service (KFS) to train community members on proper tree planting and long-term care techniques, ensuring the seedlings will thrive and contribute to a flourishing environment.
This successful activity was made possible through the generous support of The Christensen Fund.
