On 30 August 2025, in collaboration with CDG, we convened a high-level Cross-Border Policy Review Workshop at Moyale, Ethiopia, under the IPDHE consortium led by VSO and funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA). The workshop brought together government officials from Kenya and Ethiopia, IGAD representatives, and community leaders to:
Share national and local progress in peace, trade, and resilience.
Validate key policy issues identified across border communities.
Consolidate a joint cross-border policy agenda. This milestone is the culmination of a structured process carried out since 2024 and represents a firm step toward sustainable, people-centered policies for the Kenya–Ethiopia cross border. 💚 Together, we are building peace, resilience, and opportunities for all.
