Educating Girls

Our Educating Girls in Kenya Program has been designed to support vulnerable girls to complete formal education to the high school level.

We currently have one project that falls under this program:

Educating Girls in Northern Kenya

Through this project listed on GlobalGiving, we raise funds through small donations to provide girls from poor or unsafe backgrounds with basic essentials like sanitary pads. When enough donations are received, we support a few girls to continue their high school education through the partial payment of tuition fees.

In 2020, we were able to support 96 girls.

Approaches

Below are some of the approaches we use in this project:

• By paying part of tuition fees and providing sanitary towels and other essentials to girls, we support them to continue or complete high school education.
• Through life skills training, we empower girls to have a voice and choice.
